Dr。Yehudanotesanotherdifferencebetweenthesexes。“Ithinkthatthekindsofthingsthatwomenareexposedtotendtobeinmoreofachronicorrepeatednature。Mengotowarandareexposedtocombatstress。Menareexposedtomoreactsofrandomphysicalviolence。Thekindsofinterpersonalviolencethatwomenareexposedtotendtobeindomesticsituations,by,unfortunately,parentsorotherfamilynumbers,andtheytendnottobeoneshotdeals。Thewearandtearthatcomesfromtheselongerrelationshipscanbequitedevastating。”
