◆ VUDBA项目简介 
    VUDBA是一个充满创新精神的高级项目，旨在为高层管理实践者及资深管理研究咨询者提供极其高度和深度的应用型管理研究教育，目标是为中国企业培养一批应用型高级管理人才。

    VUDBA项目设计，充分考虑参加者的方便，协调工作、生活与在职学习研究。课程教学安排灵活，全程优质服务可以让学员专心学习研究，无需为学习上的琐碎事务分心。

    VUDBA项目实施分三个阶段，为期两年。第一阶段为课程授课学习，有六门专业课程和三门专题课程，在一年内完成；第二阶段为博士论文写作，在入学及授课期间内选择课题，在完成课程学习后的一年内完成写作；第三阶段为出国阶段，主要是出国学习及考察，同时参加毕业典礼及学位国际公证。

Doctor of Business Administration
INTRODUCTION
The courses of enable the candidates to make sound and viable decisions by the use of logical analyses, empirical techniques and contextual understanding.
At this level students are required to display high standard of research skills in problem solving and decision-making.
OBJECTIVES
These courses enable the students:
 To develop critical thinking and creativity in business environment where in-depth treatment of business issues are at the priority.
 Produce individuals who are able to use and apply research skills in problems solving in diverse business situations.
 To give individuals a great chance to interact with famous professors, local and international DBA students, and then get communicational net in the business field. Enforce the cooperation among the personal net.

◆ 瑞士概况(Switzerland)

1. 瑞士简介
    瑞士是一个具有七百多年历史的欧洲国家，国土面积41,288 平方公里，人口730万，外国人约占总人口20%，官方语言为德语、法语、意大利语，英语也广泛实用。瑞士政府是联邦制，由26自治州政府组成。联邦政府主要负责外交政策同对外防御政策。瑞士首都柏尔尼是全国行政管理中心，苏黎世是全国最大的城市，也是世界金融中心之一，日内瓦和洛桑为主要的国际会议中心。瑞士政局稳定，经济高度发达，国民平均收入高于其它欧洲国家。

2. 经济
    瑞士目前拥有和平、繁荣、稳定的现代市场经济，失业率低，高技术人才充足，GDP在欧洲西方国家中保持前列。瑞士实行良好的经济政策，以加强与欧盟之间的紧密合作，接受世界国际市场的挑战。因为拥有世界上最安全的银行，瑞士为海外投资者提供安全的投资政策，长期保持汇率稳定。面对欧洲经济低潮，国民生产总值在2001年增长0.8％，2002年0.2％，2003年－0.3％，2004年回升增长1.8％。

3. 文化
    瑞士的文化由于地域、语言、宗教的影响而多样，反映在文学、建筑、音乐和风土人情中。瑞士不同地区使用不同的语言，最大的宗教有基督教和新教两大教派。官方语言为德语、法语、意大利语和罗马语。英语也被广泛使用。
Introduction of Switzerland
1. Introduction
The Swiss Confederation was founded in 1291 as a defensive alliance among three cantons. In succeeding years, other localities joined the original three. The Swiss Confederation secured its independence from the Holy Roman Empire in 1499. Switzerland's sovereignty and neutrality have long been honored by the major European powers, and the country was not involved in either of the two World Wars. The political and economic integration of Europe over the past half century, as well as Switzerland's role in many UN and international organizations, has strengthened Switzerland's ties with its neighbors. However, the country did not officially become a UN member until 2002. Switzerland remains active in many UN and international organizations, but retains a strong commitment to neutrality.
2. Economy
Switzerland is a peaceful, prosperous, and stable modern market economy with low unemployment, a highly skilled labor force, and a per capita GDP larger than that of the big Western European economies. The Swiss in recent years have brought their economic practices largely into conformity with the EU’s to enhance their international competitiveness. Switzerland remains a safe haven for investors, because it has maintained a degree of bank secrecy and has kept up the franc's long-term external value. Reflecting the anemic economic conditions of Europe, GDP growth dropped in 2001 to about 0.8%, to 0.2% in 2002, and to -0.3% in 2003, with a small rise to 1.8% in 2004. Even so, unemployment has remained at less than half the EU average.
3. Culture
The culture of Switzerland is characterized by the diversity of its geography, its languages and its religious affiliation. This is reflected in the variety of its literature, art, architecture, music, and customs.
The culture of the mountains of Switzerland is not the same as that in the plateau, there are significant differences between the language areas, and between the mainly Roman Catholic and the mainly Protestant regions.
The Swiss sometimes wonder what keeps Switzerland together.
The national languages are German, French, Italian, and Romance. English is also widely spoken.

◆ 纳沙特尔州概况(Neuchâtel)

    纳沙特尔州座落于瑞士的法语区，是一个融合一个传统与现代为一体的独特的城市。交通便利，机场、铁路、公路公共交通十分发达。整个城市面积达1745公顷，居民居住区占据36%，其余72％为森林、牧场、及湖泊。据1998年12月30日的统计，纳沙特尔州有31,979人口，其中本地人有8,487，其它地区迁居的瑞士人有13,793，外国人有9,699，占总人口的30%。
Neuchâtel
Neuchâtel the capital of canton Neuchâtel, is located at an altitude of 430m above sea level. At the second iron-age in Europe known as “La Tene Period”, the first inhabitants settled in Neuchâtel as early as 3000 BC.
Neuchâtel is a lively city, situated between Zurich and Geneva. It is well connected by public railways to the airports of these cities and also from all major European trading centers like Paris, London and Brussels. Zurich is the business and industrial centre of Switzerland, famous for its trade, research, financial services, medical technology, micro technology and telecommunications.
Geneva, host to the United Nations and World Trade Organization, has always been regarded as the city of peace and diplomacy. Geneva is also the home to the world's leading multi-national, technological corporations and well known as one of the most important financial centers.
Situated between these great cities, Neuchâtel plays an essential part in the growth of Switzerland. In addition, with its beautiful lakes, mountains, cultural and social activities throughout the year, Neuchâtel is truly a remarkable and beautiful venue to study for your degree.

◆ 全球公认领先的瑞士教育(Education in Switzerland)

    瑞士的教育结构、教育制度名列全球前五名。整个国家各个水平的教育都是高标准。瑞士大学颁发的学位在全球得到认可，并且瑞士理工学院的研究水平也是世界知名。很多商界名流认为瑞士是东欧国家公认的管理培训基地。

    瑞士没有联邦教育部，26个州没有自己的州教育局，各州具有教育自治权，每一个自治州都有自己的教育政策，联邦政府只有原则性法权。联邦经济部负责管理全国的高等教育。瑞士的瓦特州（Vaud）、威列斯州（Valais）以及纳沙特尔州（Neufchatel，维多利亚大学所在地）都有悠久的教育传统，并且在教育方面投资很多。瑞士现在是整个欧洲国家中吸收外国学生最多的国家，在瑞士外国学生的比例是19%。

    瑞士的高等教育总体体系包含大学毕业文凭和博士学位两大类。第一类大学毕业文凭包含证书Licentiate）和大专（Diploma）等同于美国或英国的学士学位和硕士学位。大学毕业后，（证书和大专）即是有攻读博士学位（PhD）的资格。随着瑞士以及欧洲其他31个国家共同签署的“博洛尼亚声明”，准备对其教育系统同国际化接轨做改革，预计在2010年推出国际标准的学士学位和硕士学位。
Education in Switzerland
Switzerland ranks among the top 5 countries globally in terms of educational structures. The country enjoys high standards of education at all levels. Universities offer well regarded advanced degrees and polytechnic universities are world known for their research. Many business leaders have Switzerland as a base to manage their Eastern European business. 
Each canton has its own education policy which differs from another – i.e. the freedom to organize education and training
Cantons of Vaud, Valais and Neuchâtel (where Victoria University is situated) have a great educational tradition and invest heavily in this field.
Commercial colleges and international private schools with English curricula attract many foreign students. Swiss has the highest percentage of foreign students in Europe i.e. 19%.

◆ 瑞士维多利亚大学(Introduction to Victoria University)

    瑞士维多利亚大学（Victoria University Switzerland）位于瑞士的纳沙特尔州，于 1860 年 成立, 迄今巳有 145 年的历史，是经纳沙特尔州政府批准成立并可颁发学士、硕士、博士学位的一所著名的非盈利性大学。维多利亚大学位于纳沙特尔州一座十三世纪的古堡，其商学院则坐落于纳沙特尔市中心。校园风景优美，环境舒适。该校的名誉校长是麦克•高利爵士，校长是路易斯•朱威特教授，副校长是M•维泰克教授，优秀的师资队伍代表了瑞士最高水平的教学质量。VU 还与瑞士纳沙特尔州立大学 ( 成立于 1838 年 ) 签署了全面合作备忘录，两校连手推出课程并共同颁发相应文凭。维多利亚大学还在新加坡设立亚洲分校，其所颁发学位获得新加坡教育部批准。

◆ 教学安排Program Structure

    教学方式：小班授课，合班参加论坛，独立撰写论文。运用欧美博士研究生的培养方法，针对学员自身工作中面临的问题进行专门系统化研究。课堂上有针对性授课，注重案例分析及专题讨论，帮助学员提高战略思维能力、系统思考能力及综合管理素质。
   
    教学教材：采用瑞士维多利亚大学认可的中文高级管理教材，每门课程的参考教材都在两种以上，并由导师提供相关的导读资料或讲义。

    教师：本项目由来自中国、瑞士和新加坡三地的资深教授及专家授课，同时邀请成功企业家、经济学家及社会名流人士开设论坛。西方管理理论与中国管理实践相融合，开阔视野与深入研究相结合。授课语言为中文，英文课程提供中文课堂翻译。

    学习时间：学制两年。第一年进行课程学习，每月利用1个或2个双休日授课；第二年撰写博士论文，每名学员均配备博士生导师。

    授课地点：北京班大部分课程选择在北京大学、清华大学与A级教学楼或会议中心多媒体教室进行，同时还将安排少量课程在北京郊区或外地，包括参观当地典型企业，与企业家、政府人士圆桌对话，并要求学员自发组织多种活动以增进同学彼此交流与合作。

    海外考察：为期10天左右的海外学习或商务考察（自愿参加，不算学分），组织学员在瑞士和欧洲顶级商学院学习，拜访瑞士和欧洲的著名企业及机构，开拓国际视野。
Program Structure
Teaching method: To train post graduates according to the method from Harvard, offering systematic research for students’ issue in the daily business. To focus on the analysis of case and issues.
Material: To offer advanced management textbook permitted by Victoria University Switzerland, two or more kinds of reference books and professors’ teaching materials.
Professor: Famous professors from Switzerland, Singapore and Chinese famous University, and some famous enterprisers.
Courses: The minimum duration of the course is 2 years and student must successfully complete all modules. The modules are assessed by means of both coursework and thesis writing. Learn the advanced knowledge for management in the first year, and then write thesis of Doctor Degree in the second year.
It designed for greater flexibility, DBA course consist of 10course including 6 special course, 3 issue courses and Doctoral Research &Thesis.
The content of course is considered on a case by case basis.
Time: 2-3days in the weekend, learning in the 1st year; every students are given Doctor Tutor in the 2nd year.
Place: Most of courses are held at Peking University, Tsinghua University or A-level conference center, and some courses will be learned out of Beijing, such visiting some famous enterprises, table talk with famous enterprisers or governmental officers, and communication with classmates of DBA.
Overseas Business Study: At the end of the coursework, students can choose to participate in Overseas Business Study, organized by the DBA program for overseas exposure at Victoria University Switzerland and opportunity to network with our DBA students.

◆ 往届DBA博士生访问VU
    2003年10月，23名来自中国和新加坡的DBA博士生前往维多利亚大学参观访问，并在校园里参加了两个学术讲座：《纳沙特尔州经济发展趋势分析》及《欧盟与欧元》。VU所在地纳沙特尔州经济部长伯纳•孛加尔出席了大学的欢迎晚宴。随团访问的中国著名经济学家北京大学教授萧灼基及北京大学教授、博导睢国余先生，被授予『瑞士维多利亚大学终身教授』称号。10月7日，DBA博士生一行受到了中国常驻日内瓦联合国代表团沙祖康大使和中国驻瑞士大使馆刘宝利教育参赞的热情接待。
2005年5月，来自台湾的部分学生抵达瑞士维多利亚大学。
◆The DBA students’ Visiting VU
In May 2005, a group of Doctor of Business Administration(DBA) students from Victoria University's Learning Centre in Taipei took part in a study tour, part of the course requirement.
They attended a series of Doctoral Management lectures conducted by Faculty members, visited successful small and medium industries, etc. The participants were also given an overview of the possible joint venture co-operation, business partnerships, etc in the Canton of Neuchatel.

申请条件
    VUDBA将综合考虑申请人的基本素质、教育背景、工作经历、团队精神和领导能力，择优录取。为保证学员能在VUDBA的学习过程收益最大，所有申请人必须具备以下基本条件：
 德才兼备，品德良好，身体健康，具有领导才干和进一步发展潜力
 具有硕士学位或研究生毕业证书或研究生同等学力结业证书
 具有八年以上工作经验和不少于五年以上的管理岗位经历。
Applying Qualification
Admission to VU DBA is highly selective, and each candidate is assessed on a number of key criteria, which include previous professional and/or academic accomplishment. Most importantly, the successful candidate should possess the potential to become the General manager or CEO of the company within five years after graduation from DBA Program.
Specific admission requirements are as follow:
 Applicant typically has 8 years or more years of full time employment experience, at least five of which include meaningful management responsibility for decisions.
 Applicant should have a Master Degree recognized by Ministry of Education in China, or the same level certificate of MBA.

Application Procedure
 To get application form in the VUDBA application center in Beijing, and complete and submit it before requiring date.
 VUDBA Recruiting Office will check applying documents, and then inform you to have an interview. Application will be notified our decision within one week.
 VUDBA will give you a serious secret for your documents. If you enter into our program, it will belong to parts of your enrollment files to keep. Please forgive us not to return it.
